Bonjour, y'all. I’m Laura. I’m a Creative Director and Writer with 14 years experience in ad agencies and global in-house brands. I was professionally raised in Austin ad agencies, spent a few years in-house in Berlin, and am now back stateside freelancing with all of that experience under my belt. I’m a concept-first kinda gal, with a lifelong love of finding the right words to tell the story I know you’d like to hear. And now, I’m directing what I write. It was only a matter of time.

I'm a writer who likes to write as much as possible. I know how to think big and write for small spaces. I love writing for any media, but I especially love writing scripts and directing. I’m most comfortable when I’m coming up with ways to make you laugh and finding new ways to say what we’ve all been thinking. Fun fact: In February 2024, I completed a 3-month continuing education program through Austin Film Society, where I learned a bunch of the technical know-how that I’ve needed to fully dive into directing. From there, I made a documentary short on my phone called “Lazy Turtle Club”. Then, I linked up with a producer from AFS and directed my first narrative, a short comedy called “Three Arugula Salads”.
