Putting Myself Out There

Check out the interactive sections below for some info on the various ways I put myself out there, then check out the images and videos below that go with them.

  • In July 2022, I became a contributing writer to one of my favorite places online; Reductress! I have a few one-liners live right now, and I promise I will submit more soon!

  • I performed in Mortified Austin in December 2018 at The North Door!

I performed in three live Mortified shows! Below are some of the highlights from those shows, including some of the drawings that were projected on a hilariously-oversized 20’ x 30’ wall of The North Door. 👀

If you want to know more about my mortifying childhood writing and my adult Mortified performances, HMU and we can chat about Hanson, Cracker Barrel, and the best kinds of gems & minerals. Also, I might appear on the Mortified podcast, so tune in to see if you can hear more about ~the most boring kid ever~!

  • I started attending lots of screenwriting classes, workshops, and festivals in 2017 and haven’t been able to stop since. I want to spend my life writing things that make my life better and that entertain as many people as possible. I also pitch a lot of my writing, whether it’s scripts, prose, or jokes. And sometimes it wins, like in 2019 at an Austin Film Festival pitch competition, where I pitched one of my half-hour scripted comedies called “Coasting”!

  • I shared some of my most embarrassing stories on stage with an improv troupe in Austin called Sweet Lightning that they turned into skits. It was one of the funnest nights of my storytellin’ life.

  • I got to tell a fun story at a Bulb Story Slam in 2019 and learned that I am very physically expressive when I’ve got your attention. 👋👋
